  • Wow!  It's been almost two years since I've posted!  A lot has happened since then.  The wedding was amazing and marriage is going quite well.  Currently I'm still looking for a job after graduating in December.  As of right now, I really do not have any leads.  Zach is doing well and has a position, yet is looking for a new one as well.   Kyle graduates this year from HS and is planning on going to college to be a doctor.  My family is doing quite well and still doing what they were doing before.

God has been truly good to myself and Zach.  He has blessed us beyond expectations and provided us with things and opportunities we could never even imagine or fathom.  Our faith is definately growing stronger together and has been a true blessing for both of us.

Other than that, nothing new!  Hope all is well with the rest of you out there!

    In Christ,

    Sarah

  • Thanksgiving was busy.  School's almost at an end.  My cousin is back in town from the Marines for a little while.  I'm staying active and not dragging.

Even though I'm not completing this semester of student teaching, I feel like I have learned a lot about myself and God's plans.  It's interesting what can happen to a person when you think you are listening to God, but you're actually not.  Also knowing that God can still work in the situations when you don't chose wisely.  This semester has definitely been a test of my patience, my mental health, my trust in God, and my faith.  Sometimes I think you can never grow anymore in your faith, but God always proves me wrong.  Today when I was teaching Bible, we were discussing how Isaiah describes Jesus as a shepherd, a king, and a judge.  The kids all came up with different words and not all were the same types of descriptions.  Not only did the kids learn something, but it just proved how God is so indescribable (you may begin singing at will) and there are not enough words to define who God actually is!  It is so awesome to think that we have a God that can do anything at all times, no matter what the situation.  I have definately found that to be true this semester and it is something that will bring great meaning to me when I sing that song.

That is my thought of the day...

    Peace, Love, and Joy

  • Well... let's see here.  It has been a while since I have updated.  Here's the scoop:

I'm almost finished with wedding planning, I'm going to be a super-senior next year since my placement for student teaching didn't work out this year, I leave for Florida in EXACTLY one month!!!  Life has been very busy around here and very frustrating with student teaching and student teaching only.  I've gone back into depression for several weeks and am slowly recovering from it by the grace of God giving me the strength to look towards happiness.  I'm very happy because today I get to celebrate Thanksgiving early with Zach's family, then again with the other side ON Thanksgiving, along with my family!  YAY!!  Let's see here, also, my cousin is coming home from the marines!  This is happy and sad because it could be the last time I see him for a VERY long time.  Anyways, that's all I have!

    Love, peace, and grace.

  • End of Summer

The end of summer is fast approaching as well is everything else.   I am almost completed with the planning of the wedding and the major stuff which is a huge relief and a lot less that I need to plan during the school year.

I begin all of my student teaching seminars next week at Calvin College, and then I'm off to student teaching at Calvin Elementary.  This should definately be a blast!

There's so much that's actually starting to wind down right before the big rush to get everything going once again....  Oh well such is life.

Enjoy the last weeks of summer all....

  • So I'm back at the bike shop working hard.  Not too much going on in my life besides work, hanging with friends, and planning the wedding.  Oh well, such is life.  My life begins to change come August as I begin my student aiding and seminars to attend, etc etc.

Hope everyone else's summer is going well!

    Toodles!
